Building schools in Cameroon Africa
Next gen leadership goal

More than a school:
A hub for growth

When completed, the NextGen Leadership Academy will serve hundreds of students with quality, future-focused education. Studies show every additional year of schooling increases a child’s earning potential by 10–20%. For girls, the impact is exponential – reducing early marriage, improving health, and elevating entire families.

Help us multiply the impact

What started as a dream is already transforming lives – but we’re just getting started. Thanks to generous support, our construction phase has already generated $82,000+ in local economic impact,  creating jobs, supporting families, and building critical infrastructure like clean water for six villages.

When the school opens, it will drive over $65,000 annually into the local economy and unlock $3M+ in long-term benefits through education, employment, and growth.

Your support fuels this momentum.

  • $200 helps pay a worker’s wage.
  • $2,000 provides mentorship and after-school care for 10 children.
  • $21,900 pays for our first school bus

Our Project Economic Impact

We used the IMPLAN economic model to calculate our impact

Direct Impact: To build our school, we hired a team of 35 staff members, including construction workers, a project manager, two engineers, and an architect. The average monthly salary in the region is $150. The staff wages and spending are a direct result of the project’s operations.

Indirect Impact: Over the course of the project, we are budgeting over $400,000 in purchases of goods and services from suppliers of steel, concrete, wood, and cement. The manufacturers are hiring workers to meet the increased demand, and the new jobs created have a positive impact on the local economy as well.

Induced Impact: The economic activity generated by the spending of workers in both the direct and indirect businesses. As employees earn new income, they spend it on goods and services within the community.
